January 2009 Greetings from Frank and Cindy MauroWe want to wish you a Happy New Year. You are such a blessing to us. Africa is still on Holiday and we are presently house-sitting for a very special couple. They have a gorgeous home in a game reserve up on a mountain in Nelspruit. We have a few pictures of what we might wake up to in the morning or when we drive in the evenings.
Frank and I have spent a lot of time researching food nutrition and making Thank-you card/gifts for the local farmers and businesses in the area that helped with the children’s Christmas Party. The Children really enjoyed the party. Below is a photo we would like to have made into a poster and sell as a fundraiser.
With the money leftover from the truck purchase (shown below) we were able to buy a much-needed trailer to help haul the many kilos of food needed to feed the growing number of children this year. It is our prayer that we have enough support to open 5 additional feeding programs this year.
