In order to catch up on some of the gaps of what we've done here, I'm gonna pile up as many posts as I can gather together.

Saying that, Cindy and I went with our friend from the Ministry House, (Kent Michalik) to a place called the Center for Leadership. Kids are chosen from the surrounding areas to develop their leadership skills. The program runs all week and we caught the last day.

Here is Kent working with the kids. He had taught all week with a praise and worship time, a lesson and a bible verse.

Kent and Liz would gather kids in groups of 3-4 and if they recited the lesson topic and bible verse from the night before, they collected 2 sweeties.

Even father christmas showed up. The painting on the kids faces was to celebrate the last night with skits. You can see Cindy on the far side of the second row.

Any time folks have a chance to dance, they take it. This was the worship time and the energy was high.

You could call this a South African Bible camp for orphans. These kids live in some tough areas, and have many needs. We spoke with Heather and Darryl who head up the C4L. They asked for us to come back and review an opportunity to deliver personal parcels of food to the kids they know are needy.
